Get to know it

The AeroPress is the portable air-pressure coffee maker that combines immersion, micro-filtration, and a short press — part French press, part pour-over, part espresso-style — for a smooth cup with less bitterness in about two minutes. At TOLO we sell the Original for home, travel, and the bar, next to fresh specialty beans roasted weekly in Toluca.

What you get

Chamber, plunger, filter cap, scoop, stirrer, and a starter pack of paper micro-filters — ready to brew out of the box. Compact, BPA-free, and travel-ready. When filters run out, grab AeroPress paper filters from the same shop (stock varies).

How to brew

TOLO starting recipe (standard, not inverted): 11 g medium-fine coffee, 200 g water at ~95 °C, 2-minute steep under a light plunger seal, then a slow ~30-second press until the hiss. Full steps live on our AeroPress brew guide. Prefer inverted style or espresso-style concentrate? Use the official videos below, then dilute for an americano.

FAQ

What grind for AeroPress?

Medium-fine (~400–600 µm) for the TOLO 1:18 recipe. Sour? Grind finer or steep longer. Bitter? Coarsen the grind or drop water temperature a few degrees.

Which coffee works best?

Fresh whole-bean specialty coffee. Start with TOLO Bueno for a chocolatey, forgiving cup, or Buena onda / Bien Loco when you want brighter fruit. Grind just before brewing.

Shipping from TOLO?

Mexico: free shipping over MXN 1,000. USA and Canada: shipping at checkout; duties/taxes paid by the buyer. Retail delivery is typically ~3–7 business days after roasting/processing. Questions: +52 56 2915 1741.

Add the AeroPress to cart, grab filters if you need extras, and pair it with whole beans from the TOLO shop — or visit Pino Suárez in Toluca centro (only open café) to taste first.
