A clean, full-bodied immersion brew — a simple 1:15 recipe with a 4-minute steep and the skim-don't-press finish for a grit-free cup.

Warm the press with hot water, then add 30 g of coarsely ground coffee.

Pour 450 g of water at 95 °C, saturating all the grounds, and start a 4-minute timer.

At 4 minutes, break the crust with a spoon, give 2–3 gentle stirs, and skim off the foam and floating grounds.

Let it settle a few minutes, then lower the plunger just to the surface — don't press through the grounds — and pour gently.
