Finca La Herencia
Villaguerrero, State of Mexico

Located between 2,100 and 2,200 meters above sea level, in the south of the State of Mexico, in the municipality of Villa Guerrero — land renowned for its vast production of flowers of many varieties — Finca La Herencia is the result of the constant work and care of the Torres Meza family.
From flowers to coffee
Under the guidance of don Jorge Torres, a second-generation flower grower and first-generation coffee producer, this land now blossoms with coffee too: a legacy reinventing itself without losing its roots.
The family has grown flowers on this land since 1960, and a decade ago added coffee to that same tradition.
Variety
The farm grows Typica, one of the original arabica varieties, known for its sweet, balanced cup.
Process
The coffee is processed natural (dry process), dried with the whole cherry intact, adding extra sweetness and body to the cup.
Harvest
The farm produces approximately 400 kg of coffee per season.
